He’s over-intellectualized it all to the point of absurdity. They want power. They want to hurt people. It’s bad. Who cares how they justify it with some crank Catholic teachings or what a slave owner said in 1792.

I don’t get the constant staring into the abyss of the most nihilistic form of fascism he can find. There are more productive ways to build political dialogue.
