Keep caring about other humans and what the immorally rich are doing to harm them, but also give extra attention and love to friendship. Even if that means diving into inadvisably magnificent brunches now and then.

After 14 days of fog & quiet, I went to a nearby Turkish cafe for lunch. Their several languages welcome anyone, and the whole community shows up. It's my favorite place to practice Dutch, & the owner's smile drops my shoulders from my ears. #immigrants & #immigration gift hospitality to the world

I love South Korea! Where they remember what dictatorship actually looks like, so come together to oppose it, reminding the world that small-minded right-wing autocracy can still lose to decent people, courage, and democracy.

I'm accepting that not everyone wants something new when they travel, but where are the people like me who want more discovery and surprises (along with safety of course) on their tours?
