Views from my hotel balcony...
We took ourselves away from our hotel base in Yasmine Hammamet by #louage (shared fixed price minibuses) to the capital city of Tunisia, where we then headed off to Sidi Bou Said.
We returned to Hammamet after lunch by train the next day.

We always had lunch at Xlendi Bay when we visited Gozo on a day trip from Bugibba/Qawra but it's a few years now since we were there.
I've heard there's been a lot of construction, is that correct?

Cyprus was my home for 12 years.
It's over 9 years since we returned to the UK and I still miss those 8+ long months of warm weather, but boy - there was no Autumn.
Bang! Winter just happened overnight. It always came as a shock.
It still does, my friend is still there, tells me each year.

Here's how we rolled on our Cote d'Azur 🇫🇷 into 🇮🇹 trip, starting from UK (Liverpool) and finishing at NCE airport.
A couple of overnight stops in Nice and Genova before travelling down the Ligurian coast to Rapallo.

We stopped guided tours in 1991, in Cairo in the museum. We had rooms we wanted to see in addition to where we were being led.
We dropped out of the tour in the Khan el Khalili, didn't go back to the coach and made our own way to the hotel later, after our bartering.
1 more in 🇪🇸 in 2023 never again.

Including an afternoon in the Liverpool Everyman Cinema - comfortable sofas and wine 🍷
