Seems like a rather boring turn around no? I mean yeah the layer system was harder to explain but also you kinda didn’t have to explain it. “Oh dwarves survived the land falling on them because they were underground!” sounded simple to understand

I’ve definitely seen it be the quickest thing to get home brewed. I feel a simple addition of “cast out” makes sense
