I use the USGS Soil viewer. Here's the link: websoilsurvey.nrcs.usda.gov/app/

It allows you to download by Area of interest which you draw on an interactive map. If you follow the link just click the round green button at the top to start.

If you wish to further lose your mind, but maybe increase your workflow, QGIS has a companion app/addon called QField.

QField goes on your phone and allows you to take a map offline, gather points, then sync with the desktop layers in your project.

I use it for recording moss collection sites.
