First apple pie from scratch, done! I cobbled together a recipe from 3 recipes which consisted of a 50/50 butter + shortening base with a ratio of mainly vodka to water for hydration. Filling precooked last night (chai spiced apples).

Cooling now. We are practicing restraint. 🍽️ #baking
