Airlines in #Canada, have to follow strict rules to ensure the luggage compartment is not only secured, BUT that all ground staff, are accounted for. Similar to how surgeons have to account for all the medical instruments, before closing up an operation.This is a controllable ✈️ delay under APPR law.

Air #Canada Travel Alert - Jan 13: Change fees waived for #Newfoundland airports due to strong winds of up to 100 km/h that will continue into Tuesday. Possible power outages on the Rock as well. 💡Expect to see a ~30% price drop on flights to/from Costa Rica. Some call it the Porter effect. This may also lower flight prices out of surrounding airport like Hamilton, Kitchener/Waterloo, or even London (YXU) who may fly to Costa Rice via connections.

Reports coming in that #Vancouver duty free staff reported the uniformed Air India Boeing 777 pilot being impaired (either by taking free sample or smelling of alcohol prior to purchasing alcohol), to the Canadian authorities who conducted a breath analyser test which showed registered a fail.
