Trautmann’s Journey
@trautmans.bsky.social
Living Wage - Human Rights - Sport - Politics - Views are my own. Not a member of any political party! Very poor at reading things through - attention span of a goldfish. “To be truly radical is to make hope possible, rather than despair convincing”
Don’t worry @bvbofficial.bsky.social fans we’re not at war - we’re just celebrating not blowing up our @ukparliament.parliament.uk 🤣🤣 #ManCityvBVF

@mrjamesob.bsky.social I am up in Edinburgh for the #ScotlandDemandsBetter march to highlight the blight of poverty on our great nation. I saw this and thought of you 💙

Now let’s contrast @mrjamesob.bsky.social and @adamschwartz42.bsky.social coverage with the BBC…..surely the bare minimum should be Farage grilled by senate committee or something?

Here is a true patriot - born in Zanzibar, an asylum seeker fleeing civil war in his country, he became a true British icon and hero to millions. So I thought I’d do a bit of flag waving with my bi-sexual British legend and hero💙 #PatriotismAndPride

Hard to argue with that analysis, it’s the reason why I can comfortably describe Reform UK Ltd voters as either stupid, racist or driven by self interest over the national best interest. Of course you can be all three!

A night celebrating Greater Manchester Good Employment - criteria of secure, flexible, well paid, employee engagement, recruitment, people management and health and wellbeing. Brilliant employers doing brilliant things for their workers supported by @teamlabouruk.bsky.social Deputy PM Angela Rayner

Never forget what Farage did to this country - facilitated by the totally incompetent and arrogant Cameron 🫣 #nevervotereform

To focus on NIC and pay rises is to ignore the benefits of the productivity premium #LWPConf25

Today I am at the splendid Lambeth Town Hall in Brixton. I will be challenging the idea that increasing wages should restrict business from employing. On the contrary I will be demonstrating the “productivity premium” of paying the @livingwageuk.bsky.social rate of £12.60 as a minimum #LWPConf25

Love this man - losing at Wembley is always tough - but never forget the good times!! @mancity.com

Great footballer, brilliant TV presenter and all round bloody nice fella. He has campaigned for those without a voice and didn’t allow those filled with hate to silence him 👏👏👏👏💙

VAR is like Brexit - once it’s in you can’t get rid of it no matter how much of a failure it is!

This is my Gt Uncle Wilbraham. He was Dunkirk veteran & lived to the grand age of 102!! He never spoke about his experience, the only reason the family knew he was at Dunkirk was because his sister (my grandmother) saw him on Pathé news at the cinema disembarking a ship. #VEDay2025 NO MORE HATRED!

They missed the part where he marched up Dulwich high street singing Hitler youth songs and bullying a Jewish boy at school by mimicking gas noises in his ear…..but that’s probably what endears him to his followers!

Yesterday I attended my first Living Wage City Region meeting.

There were 2 main takeaways - the desire to deliver a @LivingWage for all remains as strong as ever, despite a difficult landscape.

Secondly, the movement is increasing accreditation numbers.

I see Nigel Farage and Reform UK Ltd have improved their candidate and membership vetting 🤣🤣 This is the kind of people who are in Reform. - and they are looking electable 🤦🏼

NO POVERTY is no. 1! 2 simple words with a complex impact if delivered. No party in Westminster is taking poverty seriously-they talk a good game but actions speak louder than words. It’s 20 yrs since the last sustained drop on poverty numbers. That’s why I support the @livingwageuk.bsky.social

It’s not a long journey to obscurity ….. today I signed onto JSA for the first time in my life.

I use this experience to educate myself on what it’s like to go full circle and see how things are different from 42 years ago when I last didn’t work.
