Similar story to my dad’s. He didn’t have photos but images were seared into his brain. It took 50 years for him to tell me about Dachau, which his unit entered shortly after liberation. He spoke a few sentences and then said, “I don’t want to talk about it anymore.”

Yes. That may be because trump was in denial for too long. He believed his fantasy that COVID would be gone by Easter. He made fun of wearing masks. He had no plans for distributing a vaccine. It was the scientists who came up with the vaccine.
