This happens in every field, sadly. I'm a soung engineer. Before going to school for it, i used YouTube and then realized every YouTube producer has copied and pasted each other's videos, which were usually techniques for rap and / or modern progressive metal.

I can't count the hours I put in doing perfect 1080 Snowboarding runs. "Work your body, wo-work your body". Also Perfect Dark was THE shit.
