This and the whole ideal of, “I’m behind a screen, so I can say whatever I want.” Obviously that’s always been a sentiment on the internet, but I fear isolation during quarantine ruined a LOT of people’s ability to differentiate between right and wrong on the internet properly

My thought here is that bc of how quickly the internet has grown in the last 5-10 years, there was no time for teenagers to learn proper internet etiquette (which sucks, obviously). Drama became RAMPANT in a lot of communities, and there weren’t enough people there to tell them what’s wrong v. right
