Woodland, CA 5K. I hadn’t won a 5K in a LONG time.
What’s funny is I was messing around and probably in fifth place about halfway through. Talking to the volunteers at the side stations.
I don’t know what clicked but I was the two leaders weren’t that far away from me. So I turned on the heat.

So there was a Skeet about kids running out to cheer on their runner, AKA parent, during a marathon. I promote this! The last to my right was actually in my way when I was coming up to the finish. My daughter, to the left, pushed me through the final 50 meters of the race!

Had a decent day today on the slopes. I had to cut out an hour short because of cramps on my left thigh, but overall I’m happy.

It feels good to have my speed getting back. I used to be around 42 MPH.

I think I need to move to Tahoe during the winter months. My sleep score has been in the 90s from all the boarding I’ve been doing.

So happy I got to spend the day boarding with my daughter today. At first she had some trouble, but after lunch she got it back and was shredding the mountain.
