A DVD with a book is one of the few 2000's trends I'd welcome back. Especially if the books are of the standard of this oral biography of Jackie Curtis - Superstar in a Housedress. Compiled from a plethora of interviews, including Holly Woodlawn, Lily Tomlin, Rose Royale and Paul Morrissey.
One from our shelves - Desperate Visions: The Journal of Alternative Cinema. Incredible 1996 release from Creation Books contains not only a lengthy interview from John Waters but several of the Dreamlanders too including Divine, Mary Vivian Pearce, Jean Hill and Mink Stole.

One from our library shelves, this beautiful joint publication from Lydia Lunch and Exene Cervenka - Adulterers Anonymous. A collection of poetry and short stories from these kindred spirits who toured this as a spoken word event throughout the 80's. 🖤
