Like 15 years ago, I worked at a ski resort, and this middle school kid would come skiing every day. I worked everyday so i saw her a lot. She added me on social media for some fucking reason back then. Kid just had her first scientific paper published.
I don't talk to her but I think that's neat.

I barely know my mom, she was forced out of my hometown by my dad after the divorce. I didn't see her much.
Since I came out, we talk every week, she comes to visit me, I go visit her, she gives me her old clothes, we drink together.
She's awesome.
I really missed out on this for 30 years.
