mistakes and imperfections can even add to the charm honestly (and makes art look distinctly human-made and not AI)

this is why i just completely wing it and leave the imperfections in. trying to create "perfect" looking art just leads to a lot of frustration, for me anyway. its more fun to just draw freely and let the art breathe.

regardless of my feelings on frieren i feel like that and dungeon meshi are helping to popularize actual fantasy anime/manga that isn't just boring isekai style junk. which is very exciting to me

i bounced off dungeon meshi at first because i thought it was just like a weird cooking manga or something?? but i picked it back up and was incredibly impressed how the cooking and eating elements weaved into the greater narrative and it just ended up being a great D&D style fantasy story

i read thru all of dungeon meshi and *loved* it, i especially enjoyed the in-between bits showcasing Ryoko Kui's detailed worldbuilding. i tried watching a few episodes of frieren and was not interested at all
