I have this conversation every time this comes up. It's infuriating. Also on the online safety act which none of you paid any fuckin attention to when you could have done something about it and it was left to sex workers to ring the alarm bells.

Get mad at Collective Shout, get mad at legislation such as the UK's Online Safety Act and international equivalents. Don't give random Steam/itch employees a hard time. I don't think they can do anything, really.

And then they might end up banning VPNs if this little Online Safety Act experiment fails because of it (it probably will), meaning people who have actual legitimate purposes for VPNs get fucked over, the tech industry suffers, and people (including teenagers) will *still find a way*.
