I think this marks the beginning of the Creature being on his own in the wilderness, then learning to talk and read with the blind man and his family. This is a new development in his life, and he will learn new things without his creator

When I rewatched the movie, I tried to see if it happened at any other moment, and I noticed it as well just before the Creature picks up the coat off of the skeleton, before he interacts with the animals, before the hunters arrive and break the peace.

Went to my local antiques shop yesterday and snatched these two beauties 🫶 unfortunately when the guy at the till asked me if I bought the map because I’d been to the Caribbean or maybe going there soon, instead of lying I said “no I just really like pirates” ☠️

Yesterday I walked by some interesting shops: “Regatta” (old ship logo), “New Zealand Auckland”, and “Accent” clothing shops + 2 antique shops + a barber with “pirate” in the name. I also found two more screen accurate Ed rings (already had one). They say good things come in threes, soooo… 🪿🎪❓#OFMD
