You know what they say:
first you don’t succeed, then try and try again. If by the third time maybe it’s time to sit down and realize you’re in a situation you are not qualified for or pursuing something futile..or two things can be true at once.

I listened live to this and while I’m not sold on arguments that it’s going one way or another, the fact that the court is staked isn’t a good sign.

Q: will this open the door then to presidents being able then to fire supreme Court judges? The same laws that protected others is same for them.

They knew what they were doing. How many had heard of this company before, outside of those in marketing? Not the masses. We do now and while it’s negative press, it’s still conversation. The old saying, all press is good press. Even if not truly true. People in marketing are far from dumb.

If you’ve never read a book about Tulsa Race Massacre then please put it on your list. I’ve never thrown a book while reading and did so many times with bursts of tears. I had to stop and go on a walk several times. This is history we should all know. So many more like Elaine Race Massacre.
As a survivor of the Tulsa Race Massacre, Viola Ford Fletcher bravely shared her story so that we’d never forget this painful part of our history. Michelle and I are grateful for her lifelong work to advance civil rights, and send our love to her family.

When we talk about Animal Farm we talk about it as an allegory. Yet with the Wizard of Oz, we seem to have forgotten it was an allegory. Now the scarecrow is just a scarecrow. Shame we stopped talking about books, since good debate on this subject for years.
