If you’ve never read a book about Tulsa Race Massacre then please put it on your list. I’ve never thrown a book while reading and did so many times with bursts of tears. I had to stop and go on a walk several times. This is history we should all know. So many more like Elaine Race Massacre.

When we talk about Animal Farm we talk about it as an allegory. Yet with the Wizard of Oz, we seem to have forgotten it was an allegory. Now the scarecrow is just a scarecrow. Shame we stopped talking about books, since good debate on this subject for years.
