Mourning the death today of Sly Stone. As a teenager & watching his band start & develop, he & his brother’s shows were always a delight & full of positive energy. One of the amazing horn funk bands in the Bay Area back in the day.

Barred owls chased away/killed the other owl species we used to have.
Since arriving, we have virtually no rodent problem & the invasive squirrels have given way to a healthy native, Douglas squirrel population once again.
