The United States claims to be a "Christian" country. But that's a lie. Why?? Would a Christian country allow pedophiles to attain positions of power?? This is also a reflection on the Catholic Church itself which also has the same problem. Hypocrisy is all I see. Not Christianity.

Capitalism only functions when there is a large pool of low wage workers to exploit. This why we see so many workers go on strike. They are being exploited by the company they work for and all the money trickles upward to the CEO. Companies keep wages low so that a few at the top can be wealthy.
