Nearing the end of 200 days of travel in 2024! This friendly fellow is directing us into a pub in Sintra, Portugal. Of course, we're on the road...and Florida beckons for the first couple of weeks of 2025!

Today, I introduce the model railroad. I've occupied a basement room that was really useless for anything else (3 doors!). On the RR, it's the summer of 1929, somewhere in the western US. Lots of steam engines, lots of tiny details, still a work in progress. More to come...

Hello, Bluesky! I've been in community development (and thus politics at the local and state levels) for 50+ years, but mostly use social media to explore themes of travel, photography, woodworking, and model trains. PNW based, but traveling the world while I'm able!
