Basically the story balance is way too far in the “Warrior of Light” side of the scale and not enough Adventurer.

I think this will be impossible as long as the Scions remain in the story. Part of the reason why Heavensward was such a shock to the system is that it sidelined all the characters we loved and stuck us with the shitty kid who thought he could solve the world and the asshole Dragoon class rival.

Steam is 100% an existential crisis. Not only because it’s a hairs breadth away from a monopoly, but even if you theoretically broke up Steam, whoever is placed in charge of those new retailers WILL be so fundamentally bad at it they might kill the PC gaming market altogether.

What boggles the mind about this, is that someone there clearly KNOWS the source material intimately. Because only that level of knowledge can do THIS MUCH FUCKERY. It’s like someone took every point of the DMC canon and decided to play madlibs with it and then put that to paper.

Important Pat note: Game has gear, but it doesn’t suck as hard as Nioh’s shit. Plate/heavy/lightweight, big number=better, and sets are fine but not like build defining. And more importantly if you got something you like you can just sell fucking everything for souls or money back at the hub.

Hi yes I am guy and unfortunately it’s really good. Combat has a great progression, Greatsword feels good, it has several skill trees for each weapon with great abilities. And most importantly when you fuck on something you fuck them UP.

I have no idea they couldn’t just make this one simple change. He’s a Warlock with a patron and everything, but his secret is that he can’t use his Warlock abilities and instead has to learn how to be a Bard from scratch. Boom. Done. Print it.

Okay, I’ll be the toxic one. Fuck that guy for building his character in character while ya’ll were on day zero, the out of character day. You shouldn’t have to re-roll, he should have to play fucking Bard and have some other dumb secret class, or re-roll entirely.
