The RW willingness to lump everything into a single ‘attack phrase’, such as “woke” or now “DEI” means they establish a broad, monolithic front that the left try and pick off one sub-point at a time.
The left should make “doge” the new woke. An all inclusive encapsulation of everything unpleasant

I’m a this an example of the right successfully shifting the Overton window right-wards. The amount that of times the ‘premise of the question’ is framed how the right frame it means that the left end up making decisions from a RE framing.

These positions show the underlying principles of integration vs zero-sum thinking. On the left, remove barriers and include everyone, on the right, “don’t give people an unfair advantage”. Christie argues a reasonably, but can’t quite shake off the entitlement of the right

Great examples of the difference in framing of DEI on the left and right. Christie works from the RW framing of diversity initiatives being about pushing diversity over merit (even he professes to do something different). Stewart counters with the LW framing that DEI is about giving fair opportunity

I came out of Gladiiator thinking what a pointless movie. That is the story that needed telling. Good performances and exciting fights didn't stop me checking my phone because none of it really mattered.
