Maybe I’m off base here yall but 18 year olds are pretty susceptible to this kinda thing

it should go without saying that it’s absolutely horrible that they’ve been federalized in dc but it’s inchresting to me

I hate the armed forces as much as the next guy but I also understand why people end up joining because they often don’t feel like there’s another choice to get out of their situation

It’s also really interesting that several educators I know at my school (many who grew up there) who went to local state university said that their university only places student teaching and practicum at these affluent schools (whereas my pre service program places is at diverse school programs)

I’m talking especially educators who work in more affluent parts of the county I hear things and I’m like what

which like COL there was super low (my 2 bed 2 bath was $1100/month, but the property I was at had even cheaper 2 beds) but still I really tried to get people to realize that maybe they aren’t our enemy and are also a victim of the same system

which u get was more than a lot of us (when I left I was making $13/hr) but that is diabolically low, this GM was also working at a hospital as a CNA as well

they should’ve seen the snot and heard the coughs when I was typing up a sub plan at 7:00am… having to do extra work when you’re sick sucks !

they were singing their little heart out and I told them what they were doing so they had the language for it but I was like who cooked here
