I dunno gang, is this anything? Is anyone down for a Yeehaw Gays #CaitVi lovers to strangers to lovers story filtered thru the 1959 classic Rio Bravo? I haven’t written a #CaitlynKiramman redemption arc story as yet and this could be a good ‘un. Excruciating slow burn as Cait earns back Vi’s trust.
Picture if you can, a sleepy little western town. You know the type. You’ve read about them, seen them in the moving pictures even. A rough-and-tumble settlement built on wooden structures, with dusty streets and a muddy thoroughfare when it rains. Y’can hear the horses and wagons clip-clopping through it, can’t you? Just be thankful you can’t smell it. There’s a gunsmith and a general store, a brothel that we don’t talk about in polite company— it’s called Babette’s if’n your wantin’ to visit— you can bet your last bit there’s more than a few saloons and of course, a jail. There’s a jail in this town. It’s gonna become real important to the story I’m tellin’ in fact. So, remember, there’s a jail. Y’see this is Piltover Gorge and it’s a town that has had two sheriffs so far in its time. One who was exceptionally good at her job, until she wasn’t and she quit, and the other, who is doing her darn best to keep the ever-present threat of violence from the Silco Gang outta her town. Away from her people. With little to no help. Aw hell, if you look now, you’ll meet one of those sheriffs. I ain’t tellin’ you which one. You’ll figure it out soon enough. Yeah, that’s her right there, getting manhandled outta the saloon and thrown into the street. Let’s follow her for a minute, shall we? Actually, should I tell you a bit about her first? Her name is Caitlyn Kiramman. She’s 6ft tall, yeah, you heard me right. A tall drink of water if ever there was one. Boy howdy, legs for days. Pale skin, long midnight blue hair, so dark you’d be forgiven for thinkin’ it was black. It parted perfectly in the middle usually, but these days? It mostly hung limp and unwashed over her eyes. Which was a shame because Caitlyn had the most intense blue eyes y’ever did see and a cute little gap, right between her two front teeth.
