What if these poems also appeared in some of San José’s 100+ other languages? Whether through translation or original authorship, we’d love to see it! For starters, how would you express Roman Sanchez’s haiku in another language?

The words themselves look simple but in order to figure it out, you need to consider: How do the contexts of words (time, place, situation, audience, etc.) change the meanings they have? Is the place in “I learn in this place” the same as in “find your place”?
