There isn't many blog posts about it because it's currently steam deck specific. However, it's listed as such on the steam deck's specs on the bottom of its store page: store.steampowered.com/steamdeck

If you're using the heroic launcher, you can add file mods to the install path from the details section.
If you want to use a windows mod manager, you can go into the settings and use this button to run the mod manager in the game's container.

Check out www.protondb.com -- it's a great site to easily see what games are compatible with Linux and if there are tips to optimize them or fix any issues. You can even share your own game library to see what of *your* games work well!

If you are using brand new hardware, or a laptop of some kind and get weird issues like graphics drivers not loading properly or wifi not working, the first thing I'd check is trying the latest kernel. Distributions like Mint make this easier, letting you manually swap versions through an app or ...

Mint is very simple and windows-inspired. It has its own strong visual language, managed drivers, and has a built in software store and an updater app to both let you easily find linux applications and update them all (and your system!) at once. Your system only changes it when you change it.

As of now, it looks like there are a gargoyle and some pig dude. There are some non-human characters like Paradox that don't exactly fit a furry aesthetic

That a vast majority of games work on linux? It's not BS, I just pulled that percent from protondb, a well-maintained database of what games are playable on linux and how well.
