I'm not in a rush to get a Switch 2 now, if ever. But I definitely wanted an upgrade from my original 2017 model. So I got first Switch OLED. Not only that, but I decided to splurge a bit and get the TOTK model.

I'm absolutely loving it. The colors are so vibrant and really pop.

My very meager collection.

Tonight I finished Ray Gigant on #PSVita. I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. It's not perfect but the art style of this game is one of the reasons I wanted to collect for the Vita.

It's also the first game I ever trophy hunted and got the platinum trophy for. I'm now hooked on trophy hunting.

Latest Switch pickups. I got these on sale from VGP and Amazon. Closing in on 400 Switch games. I'm also building a nice 3D Gundam action games set, as well as Tales games for the consoles I collect for!

Ray Gigant has been such a blast to play on #PSVita. I remember seeing the sprite work and being blown away. It really is one of the best-looking games on Vita. The cutscene art is also great.

Been playing Ray Gigant on my #PSVita for a few days now, and it's been a blast. The sprites, the music, and the post-apocalyptic story have really come together to make a fantastic game so far. This is one of the games that made me want to get a Vita and it doesn't disappoint.

Watching people replay BOTW & TOTK on Switch 2 made want to as well. But since I don't have one yet, I decided to finally give Immortals Fenyx Rising a play. While not as good as BOTW or TOTK, it's still a really fun game and exploration has been quite fulfilling.

I know I'm 8 years too late to the party, but I'm loving Splatoon 2. The story mode is boring but online is so much fun. Even if I'm absolute trash at it. Gonna finish story mode and mess around with the online a bit more before going to splatoon 3.

This week's #VitaWednesday is: Sid Meier's Civilization Revolution 2 Plus.

After the DS got Civ Rev 1, I was a bit surprised it passed up the 3DS for the Vita. It felt like it would have been a better fit there. Never the less this is a good game and another Korean release with English.

This week's #SwitchSaturday is: Azure Striker Gunvolt Pack.

Inti Creates just announced a trilogy pack release of this series in Japan. These games are the spiritual successors to the Mega Man X/Zero games. They're a bit gimmicky overall, but good games. Definitely grab the trilogy pack if you can.

This week's #3DSThursday is: Pilotwings Resort.

While not a "hidden gem" I think this 3DS launch title is massively underappreciate. With Wuhu Island as the setting, this game really represents my favorite era of Nintendo. It also has a fantastic soundtrack. By far, my favorite 3DS launch title.

This week's #VitaWednesday is: Horizon Chase Turbo.

Out of all the EastAsiaSoft games that were released for Vita, this definitely has to one of if not the best. I was so surprised that they were able to make it happen. While the game doesn't run that great, it's still incredible it came to Vita.

This week's #VitaWednesday is: Race The Sun.

While this game is a pretty standard endless runner, I absolute love the aesthetic of it. It has a great futuristic look to it while also being very minimalist. It also has a nice subdued soundtrack. Even though it's not flashy, it's still a fun time.

This week's #SwitchSaturday is: Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury

A few days ago the 3DS celebrated its 14th anniversary. One its first games and my favorite is Super Mario 3D Land. Out of all the Wii-U ports 3D World was my most anticipated and it did not disappoint. My favorite game on Switch.

This week's #3DSThursday is: Digimon World Re:Digitize Decode.

Over the years, many people have crafted fantastic fan translations for games on 3DS. It's a shame that this game never got a western release but thankfully it has a great fan translation. I've been playing it and it has been a blast.

Today's #VitaWednesday is: Ys Origins

This is another one of those Korean editions that has English on the cart. This is the same version as the Asian English release. As a result compared to the LRG release which has a large download patch, this version has everything on the cart.

My first 3DS which was the Amazon exclusive lime green New 3DS XL with Super Mario World installed. I also bought Pokemon Sun and MH4U. I got this in 2016 and it got me back i to game collecting and the 3DS is now my favorite console of all time.

A day late but, this week's #SwitchSaturday is: One Piece Unlimited World Red Deluxe Edition.

I've been slowly been making my way through the One Piece anime and I've been picking up a lot of One Piece games. This is one I own on 3DS, Vita and Switch but will be playing it on Switch.

This week's entry for #3DSThursday is: Paper Mario: Sticker Star.

Sticker Star is my first and only Paper Mario game that I've played. And I liked it. Combat does feel a bit meaningless, but the game looks and sounds great and overall was light and fun. If you can find it cheap, I say get it.

This week's entry for #VitaWednesday is: MLB The Show 15.

This is probably the most famous Vita release to come from Korea. In the west, this version of the game was just a code-in-a-box. But in Southeast Asian Regions and Korea, this got a physical. A few games in Korea have English on the cart.

My first entry for #SwitchSaturday is: Xenoblade Chronicles DE

I started this a few weeks ago and I have such mixed feelings about this game. The gameplay loop is ripped right from WoW circa 2005. Fetch quests upon fetch quests. But it has a really good story. I'm sticking with it but its not easy.

My first entry for #3DSThursday is Pokémon Moon.

Gen 7 is my favorite generation of Pokémon. It's the gen that got me back into Pokémon. I recently started a new playthrough of it. I've been watching Hayden's Let's Play of Sun while I play it.

Alola is so charming and it's been fun to play again.

My first entry for #VitaWednesday is the most recent edition to my Vita collection: Samurai Warriors 4-II.

I've been grabbing up alot of the Warriors games as of late, and SW4-II is suppose to be one of the best. The graphics look great, and combat is fun. Looking forward to playing some more.
