Hmm, I must admit that even if it was factually, provably better in terms of satisfaction I don't think I'd support this. There's something whimsical and good about being able to have a lot of things to choose from and trying new things is always nice. Plus I'm a picky eater.

Generation ships are an awful idea from a moral standpoint.
The first generation I don't mind so much, they've made their choice. But every subsequent generation had no say in the matter and are forced to live their entire lives in the ship with whatever limitations that imposes.
