On centralized platforms, we're renters without renters' rights. We can be evicted anytime. I've been professionally active on IG since 2019. My longtime followers know how little time I spent there in '24. I've known for a while that I was never going to start using IG again the way I used to. 3/5

Not all decisions are choices. Regardless of the decisions we make, users of vulnerable groups, like the many I am a part of, have always had to deal with losing access to accounts and losing engagement that no actions can restore. 🏳️‍⚧️♾️⚫🏳️‍🌈😷 This will always be an issue on centralized platforms. 2/5
