The past few weeks have been a very busy and enriching time for our team ⏩ Last week, we attended #ECMN25 where we exchanged ideas with colleagues from around the 🌍 about #TransdisciplinaryReseach on #Migration&Human(Im)mobility in the context of #Environmental&ClimateChange We made great memories!

We are happy to share that our colleagues, @songlin-wang.bsky.social (AI & climate mobilities) and Ailín Benítez Cortés (climate mobilities in Costa Rica), have successfully completed their FÖPs and have officially become PhD candidates 📝 We wish them all the best for the next few years of research!

We are truly happy to share that Sarah Konieczka joined our research group as a #StudentAssistant! She is pursuing a #Master’sInGeography with a focus on #Migration&PopulationDynamics 🔎 Her research examines how social networks shape reintegration and how governance influences these dynamics.

Last week we had the opportunity to celebrate our PhD candidates Medina Adulyarat and Magdalena Berger who presented their PhD projects on #AgingInPlace in Southern #Thailand and on #IndigenousGeographies and #ClimateAdaptation in #Ethiopia Looking forward to see how their research develops!
