Shin Godzilla
4.5 out of 5 On the surface, this is just another kaiju movie where Tokyo gets destroyed, but look deeper and this movie is so much more. From the visuals of a creature in constant agony, writhing and screaming through the suffering that is it's existence. Godzilla clearly doesn't enjoy killing humans, it's only a side-effect of it being on land. The creature honestly only made me sad, I didn't want it to be forced to suffer, but I also don't want it to have to die. I was genuinely sad about it's death. The destruction, visually similar to that of the 3.11 disaster, leads to the political messaging of those in power wasting valuable time arguing rather than taking action. Anno managed the story perfectly, even if the effects aren't incredible they never needed to be in the first place. A possible complaint could be that it can be hard to pick up on some things with how fast paced the movie is, but it's neither a positive nor negative in my opinion.

Heart Eyes
3.5 out of 5 This movie is not "good", but I fucking loved every moment of it. You don't get this concept and come up with a masterpiece of cinema, they knew what they were working with and made one of the funniest horror romcoms I've ever seen. Nothing will be surprising, it's the most predictable movie with 5 twists ever, but it was perfect and I could never speak wrong of it.

Kamen Rider: Beyond Generations
4 out of 5 This movie is fucking awesome. The only series I've seen in this movie is Revice and I'm still not sure how I feel about it, but this movie had me hyped up from start to finish. The story, while simple, was compelling enough and it's honestly worth the watch just for the soundtrack.

Kamen Rider Revice: The Movie
4 out of 5 There's not really much special about this episode, it's got the same charm as the rest of Revice so far, but it doesn't really stand out. I don't really have any complaints about the story or action though, so I think that makes it a good movie

Kamen Rider Geats: Jyamato Awaking (spoilers)
4 out of 5 Now THIS is how to end a series. Was it perfect? No, but finally a fight I think Geats might have a challenge, HIMSELF. I know it's a simple story, but it was only 55 minutes and with that runtime they were able to accomplish a lot. Buffa started growing on me when he had the jyamato Arc in the show and I love the expansion on that here. Plus how could you not love the Liberation/ Ploison Rage form???

Kamen Rider THE WINTER MOVIE: Gotchard & Geats Strongest Chemy★Great Gotcha Operation
3.5 out of 5 While this movie does continue the trend of having good action, decent enough cgi, and a compelling story, it fell flat for me as someone only interested in Geats. From the start of the movie Gotchard is presented in such a way that I hated him, it went away eventually but that took about half the runtime. The other main issue is the entire cast of Geats felt either out of character, underpowered, or both. I understand the need for Gotchard to be the primary focus, but there had to be some way to explain why Geats barely used his god powers before the third act.

Kamen Rider Geats: 4 Aces and the Black Fox
4 out of 5 Honestly could've done without this movie, I do enjoy it for giving us the awesome Black Fox and Geats Oneness suit designs, but this doesn't really enhance the story that was told in any way. It's possible this will become a neccessary watch with the next few movies, but for now I'd say skip to the credits and watch that part unless your a Kamen Rider Geats superfan.

Kamen Rider Geats: Final Stage
4.5/5 This was a pretty satisfying epilogue of sorts to the series. It feels like any other episode in every way except formatting. Obviously there are limitations to what can be done in a Stage Show, but what they managed was very well done.

Kamen Rider Geats x Revice: Movie Battle Royale
4 out of 5 I haven't seen any of Kamen Rider Revice, so it's possible the story could get better, but the movie does a good job of making the show not a necessity. Everything makes sense within the context of Kamen Rider Geats. All the characters are appealing and the story as a whole, while fairly simple, is compelling. Top that off with some fairly good fights and it's a good time all around.
