Listen for the "honk mimimi" to indicate they are, in fact, asleep, and therefore in RKM. Be careful, because sometimes a kobold will go "honk shoo" instead. This has tripped up many researchers.

I was surprised as a teenager when I learned most people don't do this with every single game they play. I've done this with Lethal Company, to give an extreme example.

Not quite what you're talking about, but my dad and brother fiercely deny that any of the transphobic movies they like are transphobic. And I'm not even bringing it up because I think they shouldn't watch it. It's from the 80s, idc. But them acknowledging its shortcomings would be nice.

I like the idea of a pokemon getting its trainer's attention because it wants a specific food that needs to be cooked but doesn't know how to use the stove. Usually it would just bug the Fire-type but they've been in a rotten mood lately.
