AS a countercultural movement, especially among BIPOC communities? Absolutely, that’s a very fair criticism, and one that is especially pressing given her (and my) white privilege. I could be way off base here though, so please let me know what I’ve missed,

consciously or not, excluding trans women who are not wealthy, attractive, and (more often than not) white. She is not herself trying to whitewash the term, she is observing the fact that it is already happening in mainstream society. Could she have gone into more of the history of Dolldom

Unless I grievously misremember, I believe the first time I heard this song was when it was used as the credits for one of the AMV Hell videos from the late 2000s. AMV Hell 3 I think? I remember that number 4 used Welcome to the Black Parade for its credits.

The problem is that the former will always become the latter over time. The US used to have stronger state control over capital, so the capital class dumped money into propaganda to slowly, over the course of decades, shift political power back into their hands. The same is happening in Europe today

It now goes to the House, where they just need a simple majority which Rs have, assuming none of their people turn coat. Then it's back to the Senate, then to the President. So the shut-down's not completely dead, but pretty fuckin dead unfortunately. No healthcare for us plebs 😔

I mean, if there's one thing we should know by now, it's that the rules absolutely do not matter. If Dems find themselves in a position to break them for a Mamdani Presidency, they should absolutely do it.

While the Islamic empire did sometimes spread via conquest, this is not at all comparable to the more modern practice of colonialism that Zionists practice today. Also, many of the modern-day Palestinians ARE the descendants of some of the Hebrew speaking peoples in the region. Not all of them left.

Was it a call for genocide when black South Africans were calling for an end to the Apartheid? Or those calling for the end of Rhodesia? You can end Israel without firing a single shot, you cannot end Palestinian liberation without killing every Palestinian. The sides are not equal, Israel is wrong.

This did not start on 10/7. This started in 1917, and until Israel is dismantled and the land returned to the indigenous Palestinian people, militant, liberatory action will be inevitable. Hamas has the right to be there, Israel does not.

Jihad has nothing to do with this. The Palestinian plight is not an Islamic one, this is not a religious conflict. Israel is a settler-colonial state that MUST be dismantled and the land returned if there is ever to be a lasting peace. From the river to the sea, Palestine WILL be free.

Google the "Hannibal Directive" and then try to argue to me that the IDF cares about the lives of Israeli civilians. If they did, they wouldn't have bombed every standing structure in Gaza, where the prisoners would obviously be kept. Or cut off aid, knowing that the captives would also starve.

Why did Israel kill the hostages? Because this was never about getting them back. It's about ethnically cleansing the lands of Palestine. That was the goal on Oct 6th and Oct 8th and today and will be the goal every day until the supremacist ideology of Zionism is dismantled.
