Henley Chiu, the CTO of Revealera, a jobs data analysis firm, analyzed 180 million jobs listings in 2024 and 2025, in an effort to find out. Chiu found an:

-8% drop in all jobs postings
-~30% drop in art, photography, writing jobs
-22% drop in journalism jobs

A long, dark haired elezen (Laurierroux) lays upon a plush bed, propped up in his elbow. Blue light creeps in from the window and casts light over his body, illuminating the soft curves of his bare chest as he brushes his hair back. Unlike usual, it would seem that he has breast, round and adorned with jewelry.

A different angle with the same lighting however now the elezen spreads his legs, pants no long on and revealing his heat for the viewer to see, which seems to eager and wet. He spreads himself open with two, clawed fingers, hold one of his legs up with his other hand. There is a smirk on his lips and he cheekily sticks his tongue out.

ohhh! so it was actually the same guy who left that boat in gyr abania!

this book had a "colorful cover" and simple wording so it's implied to be for children, but it reveals so much about how they think of themselves. like what stood out to me first was the geography, but we also have:

The Story of Sharlayan: Long, long ago, on an island in the northern sea, there lived a Roegadyn man by the name of Nyunkrepf.
The Story of Sharlayan: Nyunkrepf was a student of astrology, and he divined that a flood of terrifying proportions would soon sweep over the lands of Eorzea.

The Story of Sharlayan: With only moments to spare, Nyunkrepf wove a mighty spell of teleportation, and shifted the entire ship to safety atop Abalathia's Spine.
The Story of Sharlayan: Refugees from the surrounding regions huddled there alongside them, but it was not long before disputes over the dwindling supply of food led to violence and bloodshed.
The Story of Sharlayan: Saddened by the sight, Nyunkrepf gathered to him his crew and his grateful passengers, and abandoned the ark to those reddened peaks. They journeyed to the coast where they built a new ship, intent upon returning to the northern seas.
The Story of Sharlayan: They landed on the beach of an island, and settled upon that very spot. That settlement prospered and grew, and in time it became the city of Sharlayan we live in to this day.
