It is not goofy. It was the same for me. I had been told being attracted to women made me straight but I could not identify with the descriptions of men and their attraction. It made it hard to come to grips with being a lesbian since it was easier to say I was not a lesbian and just a bit strange

That 3rd comes from an intense sense of loneliness my wife and I have dealt this past year. This past year my wife and I embraced our identities. As we came to accept ourselves we lost connection with several groups that didn't.

2025 is going to be the year where we find our new people.

Now that I am 40 I decided that I will make either fun resolutions or one that I think will better myself or family.

With that in mind, I made 3 resolutions this year.
1. Try a new restaurant every month.
2. Paint a unit or big model each month.
3. Become more involved in the LGBT community.

I am still not sure what I want to do here. I think I am going to use the account to talk about the stuff I can't because where I live does not accept trans people. I have to take baby steps when all I want to do is run! Right now it is laser. Hopefully bigger steps in 2025.
