Marquez is still the best rider and combined with the best bike (though arguably the GP24 could be classed as better) he's virtually unbeatable. The only person that can stop him is himself.

Team orders that early in a race is ridiculous. Alex did what needed to be done and backed it up by then overtaking Antonelli on track and finishing fifth. Actions speak louder than words.

Whilst I think Colapinto is the faster driver I think the way Doohan has been treated by Alpine is shabby. He's not been given a fair chance and was set up to fail imo

In MM93's case he literally went over the line about 30cm and stopped, then almost immediately went again as the green flag was raised. Being fined for something so trivial seems ridiculous to me. A reprimand would have sufficed.

If F1 is anything to go by it'll soon degenerate into a popularity contest and be completely pointless. Which is a shame as it's a great idea in principle.

A lucky comeback more like it. Lets face it he would have been 5th if not for Vinales ridiculous disqualification and the coming together of A Marques and DiGi. There's nothing great about a complete stuffing on his 'strong' circuit by Marquez on a damaged bike.

Ridiculous awards like this diminishes any prestige DOTD might still have. It's little more than a popularity contest these days.
