Mecca is such a cool place. I've hiked 8-10 of those canyon trails, plus some in Chuckawalla Wilderness too (I just wanted to write Chuckawalla 😆).

SCOTUS appointments have been high on my list since I started thinking about it more seriously before the 2000 election, and for every election since. Too many voters are clueless about it, and too many Dems thought judges would be fair and impartial that way that they see themselves. It ain't so.

It was pretty real 😄. It was satisfying that I was able to catch it in so many different light and cloud conditions and moods too, in just two full days of visiting there.

Me too. Plus it's just fun to go to a lake called Chickenfoot back there 😁. Here's what part of it looked like while dealing with some forest fire smoke that drifted over from the western Sierra last summer though. This is one of the lakes before you get to Chickenfoot, I imagine you recognize it.

Someone else said it might be Williams mountain, which is possible, but if Flagstaff, I think it's about 75 miles away.
