A finger bun with a perfect squiggle of pink icing all along the top and a little sprinkle of coconut. On a little cardboard tray on a milkcrate. Next to the finger bun is a yellow yeti tumbler with coffee in it.

A yellow yeti tumbler and a little cardboard tray on a black milkcrate. In the tray is a fingerbun. It has perfect side by side sqiggles of pale pink icing with a sprinkle of tiny coconut flakes on top.

Lucky says 'hello' back. He has food stuck on his beak and won't let me wipe it off 😂

The BoM observations webpage for the Adelaide region showing weather station temperatures. At 8.30am the city was 32.8 and airport was 32.6.

Another Wairarapa line special 🤩

Going north from Te Whanganui-a-Tara. Single train track in the foreground. High commercial shed walls facing the train line. Four faded drafts with yellow fill and black outlines half way up one dirty looking wall. Below are three pieces along the base of the wall surrounded by a consistent brown background. The left two are mainly silver with black and purple outlines. The right one is mainly white with yellow and black outline. There are also some smaller black tags on the wall. The background is detached suburban houses and the eastern bush covered hills.

There were four tui in the flowering white japonica shrub. Sticking their beaks in all the blossoms.
A grey sky day with very green grass and deciduous twiggy trees. A few bright yellow flowers in the mainly green plants under the trees. Two of the tui are just visible as blackish blobs amongst the white blossoms of the japonica.

On my way to the Wairarapa 💖
Looking across Te Whanganui-a-Tara from the train. There are more greyish clouds in the sky than before but it is still fine and the sea is calm. On the far side of the harbour are the southern Remutaka Ranges also called the Ōrongorongos.

A view from my 10th floor hotel window overlooking buildings in central Te Whanganui-a-Tara. In the far distance is a sliver of the harbour and the southern end of the Remutaka Range (the Orongorongos). It is a lovely sunny morning and the sky is blue with a few white clouds.
