No country will ever trust us again. They will always understand now that America is only 4 years away from chaos …. With every new election. We have been tarnished for good because we have proven that the constitution is only paper and only good if valued and 30% of this country do not value it.

I'm guessing he didn't get to be a 4-star without knowing how to read the tea leaves; he's a POC, and they wanted him to do something illegal, setting him up as a perfect scape goat where they could throw him under the bus and crow about bad DEI.... he saw it coming. Kudos.
