Last week, MDOT said public comments on the US-23 study so far are running about 50-50 on support for freeway expansion. That means our campaign is working, but we need to keep it up! Read on for a few quick actions you can take to stay informed & keep the pressure on.

A group of Flint residents and organizations want the Michigan Department of Transportation to reconsider its working plan for rebuilding I-475 in the city to prevent “the same harms that were caused by its initial construction.”

This week we’ve been asking you to write to MDOT to ask them to partner with AAATA to study a transit alternative for US-23. Since then, we’ve been hearing some questions about what exactly this might entail. While we need to be clear that we are not professional transportation engineers, we do have some thoughts.
