a few years ago, I attended my first publishing conference, and the advice was so good I spent the whole time frantically writing it all down. wanted to circulate them again, and so:

Writing fics is so strange from an outsider’s perspective isn’t it? One moment they’re looking up agriculture facts, and the next minute they’re looking at how diseases affect vital organs, and then they’re researching the macroeconomic impact of trading salt

But to the writer? It’s all good!
