As he scurry’s down the branchline and his whistle echoes through the valley, Percy happily pulls a passenger train giving everyone inside a splendid ride as he makes his way to the junction.

Rumbling over the viaduct, James pulling a mixed goods train to vicarstown. Usually he doesn’t like taking goods, but the sights from te stone arch bridge cheered him up as he puffed across.

It’s an interesting thought that Percy is more or less the designated goods engine on Thomas’s branchline. Yes everyone does mixed jobs here and there but Percy handles most if not all the goods work.

One early morning Percy was collecting trucks filled with coal to bring to the little western, the trucks didn’t like being woken up by the sound of coal as it emptied into them. Percy paid no notice to it.
