This is a reason I like working with animals: it’s common for a human to take the animal’s feedback seriously and change their behavior vs. clinging to cognitive dissonance. Animals are extremely clear communicators.

I have degrees in psychology and journalism because the ability to communicate in a way that creates behavior change is a lifelong passion of mine. It’s not easy and I certainly haven’t cracked the code.
