Here is my Samoyed Evie, who enjoyed a sunset walk at low tide on a beautiful New Zealand beach. She is flying over a puddle left behind by the retreating water. Like most good Northern breeds, she does her best not to get her feet wet. February, 2024.

After the Rangitoto swim yesterday, I sank in to a heavenly bliss among this beautiful collection of paddleboards used by the New Zealand ocean lifeguards. Were I still 20 years old, I would do my best to acquire one and do distance kneeling paddles again. February, 2025.

Our fourth New Zealand open-water swimming race was in Lake Taupō last weekend, with its crystal clear freshwater and stunningly beautiful views. Thank you NZ Banana Boat Swim Series for putting on yet another sensational event! January, 2025.
