There is an archway about 4 steps up, with a beautiful wrought iron security screen. The 2nd floor of the facade features a small balcony with an oblong archway lined with glass paned doors and windows. The front of the home is a pleasant yellowish cream color with a sort of rusty burgundy colored trim on the garage, balcony fence, and trim on the balcony. There is an orange traffic/safety cone between the opening that leads to the garage and the exterior staircase, and some green plants are growing in front of the house to our right of the garage recess. Any fellow Mendocino County cat lovers out there? Last month, we took in this friendly but awfully timid stray only to discover she was already spayed with no ear tip. I posted her in the local lost pet groups, but nobody knew her. Seems like there are a lot of abandoned babies around here? 😿 #cats

A few blades of grass that have sprung up on the top of a moss covered tree stump. The stump is also littered with duff. Beyond, we see trees so thick that the sunlight seems to sparkle as it peeks through the leaves and part of a neighbor's house down the hill

I am a sucker for a carved door. So much more interesting than plain wood or a modern glass door. A carved door beckons one inside to see what lies beyond 🖤 #willits #california #doors #mainstreet #northerncalifornia #urbex

A carved wooden door with an antique brass colored (would love to know if it is actually antique brass) door handle on our right side and a round brass colored lock below that. There are 8 decorative rectangles carved on it, in 2 columns of 4. Each rectangle contains a sort of wavy rosette design that I had trouble identifying with Google lens. The rosette is contained within a diamond, and there is a group of 4 triangles filling out each corner of the rectangle outside of the diamond. At bottom right we see what appears to be a silver colored metal slide lock, and to our left of that is a scar and holes on the door where something was previously installed. The bottom of the door is heavily scuffed, and there are chips in the thick cream/beige paint where we can see the light colored wood. On our left are two metal hinges, the top one clearly a dark bronze color, while the bottom appears to be more of a darkened silver or pewter color at the ends and a brighter, almost greenish hue that has been scuffed or marred in some way

Same building as other picture, but this time we view the facade from the left, standing a bit further away. A few cement stairs lead to an archway which leads to a plywood covered front door that sports a NO TRESPASSING sign. There is a silver colored metal handrail on the left side of the stairs only. The number 330 is displayed just above the door. Various plants grow in front of the building, including the rose bush that features prominently in the other picture. To our right of the door is the window from the other photo.

The stucco exterior has been textured and decorated above the archway to include straight lines radiating away from the top of the arch, a gold colored, scalloped textured decoration at center, and the words "MASONIC TEMPLE" have been carved there as well. Just above that, we see the Freemason symbol. There is a glass window centered above the archway. Above that window appear more gold colored decorative features, mainly a shield at center top. The roof slants up to a point centered above that.

There is another 2nd floor window on the right above the rose bush fronted 1st floor window. The glass on this one has been defaced by white graffiti. The branches of a tree that is a few feet taller than the building peek out along the right side and above the roof, backed by blue sky at top right

A beautiful black, maybe cast iron, outdoor wall sconce on the front of the old Masonic temple building on Main St. It looks like the glass panels were maybe glazed, and the glaze has crackled over time. The wall behind it is a light colored stucco, and you can see some of the lines and texturing that highlight the out-of-frame archway leading to the front door

I have been somewhat fascinated by the old Masonic temple that sits vacant on Main St. Wishing someone would buy and restore it. I respected the no trespassing sign, but I yearn to take a closer look at what appears to be an old well next to it 🤍 #willits #california #historic #achitecture

What appears to maybe be an old well sits at the back of an otherwise empty lot directly next to a vacant Masonic temple that we see on the left. The right side of the picture is framed by the trunk of the tree I stood under. Between the building and the well(?) is an exterior staircase to the 2nd floor of the temple. There is a dollar sign painted onto the white base of the well(?), but the side of the building seems to be mostly clear of graffiti
