I've been happy with my Osprey, which I carried on several hundred miles of the Arizona Trail, in the Grand Canyon and on other trails in AZ. My work pack is also an Osprey. I have had it for about 12 years, using it for trail design in the desert, where it gets poked and scratched (as do I) a lot.

Worth the drive east to the Amerind Foundation trails in the Dragoon Mountains, built in 2023. It's a stacked loop system amid granite rock formations. Well worth the small admission fee.
