Every bad parenting decision comes back to haunt us.
Yrs ago, my 9-y-o daughter stepped on a tack and cried for ~15 min. When she calmed down I asked, "should I call a toe truck?," hoping to distract her misery.
Yesterday, I dropped a heavy object on my bare big toe.
Guess my first thought?

In Monrovia, California, protesters are purchasing 17¢ ICE scrapers from Home Depot and immediately returning them to create long lines and slow down the entire store. Their aim is to disrupt sales and convey a message opposing ICE raids occurring in their neighborhood.

I live in a kinda/sorta lefty NNJ town—not particularly affluent. All of a sudden, I see lot more electric cars. Not just Teslas. Lotta Chevys, a few high-end German models. several Kias/Hyundais What I’m not seeing is a lot of public charging places, unsurprisingly.
