.. wait *I'm* people too!
"nobody goes there anymore, it's too crowded"

I think I first heard it in relation to a tourist spot, but thinking about it in a Nightvale-esque, yes is no, kind of way is more entertaining.

Ahh, gotcha. Play as little as possible, like golf. Righto.

Candle...race? how do I candle race, and importantly, how do I beat my relatives when I then teach them how to... race candles?

Summoned to bless us by adding -popupwindow to the runtime arguments of many games without the option.

Unless your commute is significantly longer than 100 miles/day, AND you don't have any kind of power outlets where you park overnight (apartments suck), fully electric cars have arrived. Hell, if you have an outlet in a garage and like, a 20-30 minute drive, even older EVs would suffice.

That brass inner barrel says she's about to shoot my eye out with an airsoft BB.

Pretty sure the Umarex brand is only airsoft replicas, not actual firearms. So, that's slightly better I suppose?

Looks like an A/C line in a vehicle. Hold the threads with an E torx, and use a wrench on the nut. Do not open said line while there's refrigerant pressure behind it.

Holy shit someone else has played it too! Between that, Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds (an AoE2 reskin), Total Annihilation, and C&C: Generals, I was very firmly hooked on strategy games growing up.

Cannot verify, but I'm told that turning off "Smart Shuffle" in the playback settings fixes this.

Hang on, lemme try not a knee-jerk quote.

Assuming I correctly ID'd the character as Georgette from Oliver and Co., excellent job capturing the likeness, cos I immediately knew who she looked like.

"Georgette is*not* going to like this"

Had to re-read that after the video, did not understand for a moment what watches had to do with old Intel processors.

I like your version quite a bit, the earrings and 'third eye' match what I want to remember.

and you even managed to do the book-boob meme at the same time, good job.

Ah yes, XcQ, yes I know that URL well.

Sometimes I wonder if it 'counts' to merely reference it, given how many applications will fetch a thumbnail just from the URL.

Kinda like losing The Game, as I did just now.

Sinfest webcomic series immediately comes to mind as a really obvious example in the negative direction.

Bad bot, go away.

Silicone oven mitts. I can just put them in the dishwasher when they get dirty. Same for my trivets and spoon rests.

I anti-recommend two part tools, with wooden handles and silicone heads. The heads are easy to clean, as above, but the handles have to be hand washed.

Ooh yeah. I know I totally just filled it in with all the pegs we had. And then attempting to take the paper off without removing any of the pegs, just because. That also felt weird; if you used thick paper, it'd be this bumpy bendy almost-fabric.
January 13, 2025 at 4:48 AM
Oh yeah. I still have the Apple //c I grew up with, and the printer on that, mm good stuff.
January 13, 2025 at 4:40 AM
Yes, and those buttons need to be actual, pressable, shapes. Not that flat panel capacitive stuff. You wouldn't have to have light up 'buttons' if you could operate them with your eyes closed.

Eheh... I should really straighten out what I'm doing with mine. It's apparently been 1,458 days since my last backup, so says their email.

'preciate the small reminder to look into that.
