We will be at oats.sched.com OATS - Oregon Active Transportation Summit this week. Look for us in yellow shirts over the next couple days. Come say hey and we have a few 3D printed mini-enclosure key chains to share!

How's your roadway AQ? The Traffic Monitor includes the ability to connect a Air Quality (AQ) sensors. We provide the tools to capture detailed environmental readings simultaneously with roadway objects. E.g: PM2.5, combustion gases: reductive, oxidative, NH3, temp, pressure, humidity, and more!

ZOooOoooOmM! I happened to be watching my on-device dashboard and saw this rollerblader get counted.
Our model doesn't differentiate skaters/bladers on the roadway (counts as pedestrian). Maybe we should work on a model that detects them for inclusion in micro-mobility counts?

Released the latest version (v1.2.0) of the open source traffic monitor *enclosure*. Now includes all accessories and the Air Quality enclosure! We are looking to soon sell pre-built units and kits, but the more DIY-capable among us can build their own, no waiting!

I wrote up an article on how I control my 3D printer with Home Assistant for producing the open source 3D printable Enclosure for the TrafficMonitor.ai. Read it on my Hackaday project: hackaday.io/project/2026...
